Starting in July of 2023, Amy began studying what Search Engine Optimization was, implementing SEO strategies in website content writing, and providing freelancing services to small business to assist in their website growth. She developed SEO-friendly content for social media, website, and promotional materials, boosting online visibility, and attracting new customers through organic search traffic.

The Coffee Loft began as a small mobile coffee truck in 2021 under a slightly different name. The Coffee Can was a remodeled 1974 Chevy Van turned Coffee Truck. For the first year, Amy worked on the Coffee Can, built a customer based, learned about supplies, taxes, and small business management. A year after opening the coffee truck, Amy partnered with two investors to expand her small business into a sit down coffee shop called The Coffee Loft. It has now become a staple in the community and the "go-to" place to visit friends, find great employment, and connect with others.
Through the process of building, operating, and growing her coffee shop, Amy has demonstrated strong talent acquisition skills by recruiting, hiring, and training a team of 12 dedicated employees, achieving low turnover by fostering a supportive, values-driven work culture that aligned with the company's mission.
